KES 10,000 for make up?

I've just had a peek at an excel file with a guy's wedding budget. I was initially surprised to see make up as a line item. And 10K? For one day? 500,000 for a total wedding budget isn't that far fetched. Scary stuff.

They must intend to have clowns and face painting at the reception.

I'm thinking KES 10,000 is not so bad for makeup for the wedding ama? Especially if its make up for the whole bridal party...lxu

I agree bloody waste of money. Wedding should be a cheap affair. M just thinking just how many ways 500k can be properly used.

And the worst thing is you are invited to such wedding comms and expected to contribute. I wont.

Or i am i being a Kikuyu?

And even such people are those later in life will be living large when they cant simply afford it.

Same ol Story.

500K can feed the children of Majengo for a whole year.

Dont tell me anything; lavish wedding or not point is we GET MARRIED.

And maybe the make up will last for like 2 months not just the one day... like lipstick and foundation and mascara...over here people spend 60pounds just on facial cleanser and scrub for ONE person

I was just saying is all.. The money that is poured down the drain on make up is parallel to the money peeps spend on beer and cigarettes or on whatever other impracticalities.. everyone has their own priorities and pleasure principles so unless we are Mother Teresa we shouldn't criticize each others' choices...

I'm thinking this guy who was doing the excel worksheet was just told to put that in there. Probably didn't ask many questions. I sure wouldn't.
