What would you do if you weren't afraid

Just a thought I came across as I was reading some pdf a colleague supplied. That statement really leaped at me. A wake up call if I ever saw one.

I would start a business and continue throwing in cash. I would be flying to DUBAI to buy merchandise. I would let go of stickers.
One time a mathree conductor wanted to siphon more money from me by pretending he never remembered. When he threatened to pull a 'sunkuli' on me, i looked at him with glaring eyes. He shouted and finally wondered who i really was. I risked been roughed up, but was not afraid. The conductor finally left me after realizing i was not yielding.
I would be all that i can be. I think fear is an emotion, not quantifiable or justifiable-just like love(its western culture)

The book is definitely worth reading for it's "slap-to-the-back-of-the-head" value. On that note, you might also find the review I did of it useful.

If I could do whatever I wanted coz of no fear, there are some people who wouldnt be breathing. The list is too long to start here!

The reason that statement was/is so profound for me is that I would be a completely different person, seeing as I'm almost wholly driven by fear. Gripped and enslaved. Perhaps if I chant this mantra to myself, I will be able to let go.

fear of the inability to pay my bills is what drives me. that's why i'm in a job that i hate. otherwise, i'd be a schoolteacher. that's what i'd do if i had no fear. fear of being broke is my main motivator in life!
