What of holding hands

I've taken up jogging this week. It's a lot more tedious and painful than playing football, which I used to do previously. It's the spirit of vuta pumz.

Anyway, so on my way to the campus field where I do my thing, I met a couple all smiles, holding hands, looking starry eyed and all. Saw a similar thing on my way back. Got me thinking. Could that be me? The ocassional times I've been engaged in hand-holding is when my hand was promptly grabbed and letting go is pretty tricky and difficult to do, even when the whole world is staring at you. I'm definitely not the romantic type.

I think the person more in love initiates the handholding and the other one just sort of tags along e.g a guy i never really like but loved me was always holding my hand but me and my present guy don't really hold hands(v. sad)... I guess thats a good way of gauging the balance of affection in a relationship... hmmm

How do I start here?

When I see people holding hands, I always have this uncontrollable urge to laugh out loud.

I have come to believe that "love" or "romance" is a cultivated thing. Its like those stem cells or biology cultures that are grown in test tubes. (I am excluding loving your sister, brother, mum or dad).
Hear me out.

Why (or how) did I come to such a monumental conclusion?
Simple: Observation. We live in such a volatile world that love of Fr. Valentine's form can NOT practically exist. I said PRACTICALLY.

There are too many things that are factored in before people pair up. People haggle and size each other up like merchandise in a market.

For instance, it is a universal truth that a man who has some money (meaning a lot of money) will always command attention from the ladies. Other quantities like good manners, compatibility will be checked after the basic truth has been established.
Why are some ladies attracted to wealthy men?
I will leave out the more devious arguments and say that the idea of being stable and comfortable appeals to them. Thus, they might compromise a bit on true affection to gain comfort. See? Factors. I call it refusing to have a bite of air and sleeping under a starry roof.Practicality.

To be fair, I will say that men are attracted to shapely figures, nice b**bs, promise of hot action.

I can talk endlessly on this one. Life is a series of equations. Rough estimates can be applied to those that can't be solved.
