cosmic - You actually used word perfect? For most of us, that was just something we read about. You're more ancient than I thought. I don't blog as often as I'd like to.
VB - Yup. It's not the kind of thing I was just looking up for fun [even though the geek in me was really excited to find that out, and why, and how to get around it]. I have experienced it today first hand.
Yes Excel can take a max of 65,000 records and 256 worksheets. I am surprised you don'r rember this from the days you used to teach Introducion to Excel.
I had to work with a 60M records a few months back and neither Excel nor Access could accomodate them. Good thing my employer has some audit s/w whose max limits I am yet to encounter. I have since downloaded MySQL just in case I come across a similar problem in the future.

True Excel has very crazy limits!!! And so does Word apparently. I remember having to use Word Perfect and Lotus to do some things back in the day.
Samborera! You blog a lot! I remember you mentioning that you may not have a lot to say, I hope you have taken that statement back.
OMG that is really funny that you know that. are you speaking from experience? LOL
