Don't be polite
Don't give me your number if you don't intend to respond. Or if you're going to hang up on me. Or if you otherwise don't want to give me your number. Saying "No!" is perfectly ok. It's what you really want to say anyway. And saves me having to go through the whole number deletion routine.

Initially it was giving jamaas guys of the mortuary and you're surprised to call the next day and be asked "wataka maiti gani??"
Now with lemme flash you, you get my numba, its sad that they dont pick or worse still cut you off!
My policy is call once (max 5 rings) then a text. Given a day or two you get a response if she's down.
Oderwise delete/degauss/demagnetise that numba!!
It'd actually been a while since I'd experienced this behaviour. I thought this kind of thing isn't done anymore. The other thing to do would be to let her have your number [you don't take hers], then she'll call/text/flash if she actually wants to talk to you. I've tried this a couple of times, but wobble if she's hot, and I can't take the chance that she won't call/text/flash.
For the nth time, dont ask for a chiks number. If she wants you to have her number she will give it to you.
Hahaha, Ajamaa... Thats being too ambitious. There are chicks who volunteer their numbers but there are others who sure wont give it to you unless you ask!
Samb. When a chick says she wants to take my numba rather than me getting hers I know she's playin karata. I usually find an excuse not to give mine and immediately start looking elsewhere. As a hunter, your prey cant tell you sijui "tell me where you'll be with your shotgun and Ill be sure to come there!" In the game one must maintain the upperhand...
People should be straight up like me. I just tell guys I don't give out my number and then when they try to give me theirs I tell them I don't intend to call them.
ajamaa - As I said, I wobble sometimes.
milonare - I had that karata played once on me, [and we both knew what was going on even as she was taking my number] then I bumped into her after a couple of days. I had a ball seeing her coming up with all sorts of excuses. There's also this other one more recently. Same thing. I knew she'd probably delete my number after she turned the corner. Perhaps this happens more often than I'd like to acknowledge. But at least I don't get all hot under the collar.
princess - So how do you get guys' numbers. If you do that is.
